Point View Reservoir
A buddy of mine and I decided to go back here. This place is awesome. As I mentioned, they only open the gates 5 Sundays throughout the year. So the fish are very aggressive! The big fish were there, but I could not catch them. I caught a couple of small crappie, but nothing worth the time to take a pic. I really just wanted to share this location as a good spot. And its legal!!!
jerseyjohn – Thanks for sharing this info with the group. I’ve never heard of this reservoir or their fishing program, but it sounds like a good one for big fish. Unfortunately its too far for me.
I found the below info in case anyone wants to give it a try.
You might want to check first if you have to be a resident to get the free pass.
I read that you have to wear a PFD while wading in the water.
