Another Day Of No Action Out On The Bay

Went out yesterday on a friend's boat for the second time this summer targeting stripers and blues. We trolled umbrella rigs around the bay for a while but came up with nothing. The funnest part of the day came when we decided to take a break from trolling and go check lobster traps. I got to haul up the traps, and pulled up only three lobsters and a bunch of crabs through all the traps. One of the lobsters was of legal size. He was a pretty big one and I could tell he was a keeper by far when I pulled him out of the trap. We went back to trolling, eventually heading to Boston Harbor after hearing radio reports of fish being seen there. The birds were diving and fish were even jumping, but trolling and throwing crankbaits produced no action. The day produced no fish, but I'm still hopeful to hook a striper or a blue before summer is over.
