a good afternoon on the water. out by myself today. beautiful day, not many pleasure boats to compete with, and some decent fish.
started out throwing a white tube in the trees in between the middle and north pond (by the pike) and pulled out 2 small, but decent bass, around 1-1/2 lbs each. switched to a white rooster tail for a while and got a decent rainbow and 3 baby perch.
then moved to the far side of the middle pond with a crank bait and got 2 pickerel and another rainbow. did bring one of the rainbows home for dinner.
not a bad day for mid october.
