07/03/09 - Hopkinton Reservoir - Hopkington, MA

went to ashland first, only to find the gate closed with a sign stating they are not staffed for the season.

first time at hopkinton and a pretty good afternoon. a nice 3 pounder, a 2 pounder, and a few smaller. the orange crawdad is now my favorite bait, lol.

  • Location Details: pretty sure its electric motors only. straight across from the boat launch and a little to the left. a couple of rock walls on the edge that look like just a pile where rocks fell into the water. looks like there could be a few small rock caves the fish can hide in. caught them literally a foot off the shore.
